No Kid Hungry North Carolina has pulled together a list of statewide programs to make sure North Carolina kids don't go hungry as schools are closed during the coronavirus pandemic.
The list says that it will be updated on a regular basis, but it's always best to also check in with your school system to ensure that things will go on as planned.
No Kid Hungry NC is an initiative based at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. It works to end child hunger by connecting kids to effective but underutilized federal nutrition programs such as school breakfast, summer meals and afterschool meals.
