RALEIGH, N.C. — We have your guide to socially distant fun this holiday weekend!
Fireworks and virtual July 4th fun - Many fireworks displays are canceled, but there are a few still happening in the area. We have a list of these and other virtual celebrations.
N.C. State Fair drive-thru event- The North Carolina State Fair will be hosting Drive-Thru Fair Food Days Friday through Sunday. The events will run noon to 6 p.m. Sales will be cash only.
Food Truck Flix - Enjoy a drive-in movie and food from local trucks during this new series in the Triangle. "Ratatouille" and "Top Gun" are set to be screened Friday and Saturday nights in Raleigh. Tickets are $20 per car.
Cook Like the Pros - This week's recipe is from Koan chef Drew Smith.
OneEno - EnoFest 2020 - The Festival for the Eno may be canceled for this year, but the Eno River Association has come up with a virtual event in its place. OneEno - EnoFest 2020 will be broadcast from the Carolina Theatre in Durham on Friday. The show will include live and recorded musical performances, a virtual crafts market and profiles of local artists.
Free Fishing Day - Free Fishing Day is taking place on July 4 this year and you can fish without a license all day long.
Recipe: Patriotic Popsicles - Independence Day is right around the corner, and it's time to flex our patriotic food prep muscles! These homemade 4th of July popsicles are a healthy and delicious homemade treat and the kids find them as fun to make as they are to eat!
