'What are the odds:' Man wins two $1M lottery prizes in two years with tickets from same store
A Concord man couldn't believe his luck when he won a $1 million lottery prize for the second time in two years.

Terry Splawn hit the jackpot for the first time in April 2017, when he bought a Millionaire Bucks ticket from Sam’s Mini Stop on Old Charlotte Road.
On Wednesday, Splawn returned to the store to buy a $150 Million Cash Explosion scratch off-ticket and learned he had won $1 million for the second time.
“What are the odds of this happening?” he said. “I can’t believe I won the lottery not once, but twice.”
Splawn claimed his $1 million prize on Thursday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh. He chose to take the lump sum payment and went home with $434,506 after taxes.
“My wife spent most of the last prize remodeling our home,” Splawn said. “I’m keeping this one. I’m going to put it aside for a rainy day.”
The $150 Cash Explosion ticket launched in October with four top prizes of $4 million and six $1 million prizes. Three top prizes and four $1 million prizes remain.
