RALEIGH, N.C. — Get ready for some spooky fun this weekend!

Here are our picks:

Raleigh Zombie Walk 2019 (Nash Square Park , 200 W. Hargett St., Raleigh) - This flash mob meeting will start at Nash Square on Saturday at 7 p.m. and walk a mile long trek through downtown Raleigh.
Day of the Dead 5K (Centro Mexican Restaurant, 106 S Wilmington St, Raleigh) - Centro will host this 9th annual event on Saturday morning. There will be a Kids Dash and costume contest.
Pumpkin Flotilla (Fred G. Bond Metro Park, 801 High House Road, Cary) - Bring your carved pumpkin for a special pumpkin floating event at Bond Park in Cary on Friday. Watch the pumpkins float on Bond Lake around 6:30 p.m.

Cary's Great Pumpkin Carve (Town of Cary Downtown Park, 319 South Academy Street, Cary) - Carve a pumpkin and then stay for family-friendly Halloween specials shown outdoors, including "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!" on Saturday afternoon in Cary.
Fall Festi-BULL (Durham Bulls Athletic Park, 409 Blackwell St., Durham) - A fan-choice movie, costume contests, food trucks and hayrides highlight the event at Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Saturday. Admission is free.
Hotel Horror: A Halloween Murder Mystery (Aloft Raleigh, 2100 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh) - This event is a combination of an escape room and a murder mystery. Enjoy the spooky fun at Aloft Raleigh on Saturday night.
Zombiepalooza (The Cary Theater, 122 E Chatham Street, Cary) - The undead will rise again during this film festival on Friday night. The event will include locally-produced zombie short films shown on an outdoor screen downtown.
Trick or Trot 5k (Wendell Falls, 320 Vintage Point Lane, Wendell) - Burn some of those pre-Halloween candy calories at the Trick or Trot 5K at Wendell Falls on Saturday afternoon. Following the run, go to Farmhouse Cafe for live music and seasonal food and drinks.
Barktoberfest
Barktoberfest (The Pavilion at Durham Central Park, 501 Foster St, Durham) - This dog-friendly event features a costume contest, photo booth, fun walk and more on Saturday at Durham Central Park.
Halloween Party (Barley Labs, 4015 University Drive, Durham) - Head to Barley Labs on Saturday afternoon for this dog-friendly event featuring trivia, a costume contest, a food drive and photo booth.
Halloween Party & Costume Contest! (Doherty's Irish Pub & Restaurant, 1979 High House Rd, Cary) - Doherty's Irish Pub will host its Halloween Costume Contest and Party on Saturday night.

Nightmare on South Street - A Masquerade Ball (A.J. Fletcher Theater, 2 E. South St., Raleigh) - This elegant, entertaining and mischievous party will be filled with dancing, drinking and good-spirited competition Friday night at Fletcher Theater. The event will include performances from the Carolina Ballet.
Halloween Spooktacular: The Composer Is Dead (Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Meymandi Concert Hall, 2 E. South St., Raleigh) - Lemony Snicket's popular children's book, The Composer is Dead, comes to life with music by Nathaniel Stookey, plus all your Halloween favorites during this show Saturday at Meymandi Concert Hall.

Clouds Brewing Oktoberfest (Clouds Brewing Taproom, 1233 Front Street, Raleigh) - Clouds Brewing is hosting this Oktoberfest event on Saturday and Sunday. It will include beer, food trucks, live music, giveaways and a petting zoo.
Me Fine Gala (The Cotton Room, 807 East Main Street, Durham) - The event, planned Saturday night at The Cotton Room, offers a delectable evening of heavy hors d'oeuvres and an open bar, as well as opportunities to win unique experiences and one-of-a-kind items in the live and silent auction. The Me Fine Gala is the Me Fine Foundation's annual signature fundraiser, helping the organization fulfill its mission providing financial assistance and emotional support to families with children facing medical crisis at local children's hospitals.
Food trucks
Wake Forest Food Truck Rodeo (Wake Forest Renaissance Center, 405 Brooks St., Wake Forest) - The rodeo will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. In addition to trucks, there will also be a beer tent, live music and vendors.
Inaugural Downtown Rocky Mount Food Truck Invasion (Rocky Mount Event Center, 285 NE Main St., Rocky Mount) - More than 20 food trucks are expected to attend this event at the Rocky Mount Event Center on Saturday afternoon.
Fall Art Festival Dia de Los Muertos (Durham School of the Arts, 400 N. Duke Street, Durham) - This free event will include a parade, food trucks, face painting, live performances, art showcases, festival games and memorial for the lives being celebrated. It all happens Saturday night at the Durham School of the Arts.
