20th Annual African American Cultural Celebration - This year's celebration is going virtual with all presentations and performances online-only. Enjoy regional artists and craftspeople demonstrating their skills, plus live performances on Saturday.
NC Museum of Natural Sciences' Astronomy Days - The N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences' annual Astronomy Days features free online activities through Sunday. As part of it, the NC Museum of Natural Sciences will screen "Empire Strikes Back" on Friday.
In Hindsight, 2020 - 7-Stories and Raleigh Little Theatre will present "In Hindsight, 2020" - two evenings of community stories about the unprecedented year of 2020. The show runs Friday and Saturday.
Girl Scout Cookie & Beer Pairing (The Glass Jug, 5410 Highway 55, Durham) - The Glass Jug is offering flights of four beers paired with four Girl Scout cookies. The special runs through Jan. 30. To keep the event safe, the cookies will be pre-packaged by masked and gloved staff members and there will be to-go options so you can enjoy your beer and cookies from home.
