RALEIGH, N.C. — There is a lot going on for the holiday weekend!

Festivals, food and fun

African American Cultural Festival (Raleigh City Plaza, 400 Fayetteville Street, Raleigh) - There will be music, food, dancing and vendors selling clothing, accessories, jewelry, books, baskets, natural skin care products, home decor and more in downtown Raleigh during this three-day festival.
Durham Food Truck Rodeo (Durham Central Park, 502 Foster St., Durham) - There will be over 40 food trucks and live entertainment on Sunday afternoon.

Labor Day Weekend Bar Crawl (Noir Bar & Lounge, 425 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh) - Stay out late Sunday night to celebrate Labor Day! Check in at Noir and stop at eight bars for signature cocktails, food and music. Tickets start at $5.
Downtown Raleigh Scavenger Hunt (Sir Walter Coffee, 145 East Davie Street, Raleigh) - This Friday night hunt will take guests to some of the most historical, artistic, and unique locations around the downtown area.
MoonRunners Anniversary Celebration (MoonRunners Saloon, 1506 US Highway 70 W, Garner) - This Saturday party features a bounce house, magician, face painting, a dunk tank, beer and moonshine tastings and more. MoonRunners Food Truck will be on site.

Durham Bulls: Friday Night Fireworks (Durham Bulls Athletic Park, 409 Blackwell St., Durham) - End your week by checking out the biggest fireworks show in the region with Friday Night Fireworks following every Friday home game.
Movies by Moonlight: A Star is Born (Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary) - Watch A Star is Born Friday night in Cary. Tickets are $5.
AfroChella Gala (City of Raleigh Museum, 220 Fayetteville Street, Raleigh) - This Friday party kicks off the start of the African American Cultural Festival and features a live band, photo booth, VIP cocktail hour, drinks and more.
Wings Over Springs Charity Electric Fly In (Sugg Farm Park, 2401 Grigsby Avenue, Holly Springs) - There will be food and drink, a drone racing competition and more on Saturday. Proceeds will benefit Meg's Smile Foundation.

The Beat Market (Locopops Dessert Cafe, 2618 Hillsborough Rd, Durham) - On Sunday, stop by Locopops for local artisans and craft makers, musicians, beer and wine and tasty sweets.

Treasures of the Earth Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show (North Carolina State Fairgrounds, 1025 Blue Ridge Rd., Raleigh) - Vendors from across the United States will bring a variety of merchandise to Raleigh during this four-day festival.
Monthly Patchwork Market - Fullsteam Brewery (Fullsteam Brewery, 726 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham) - The Patchwork Market monthly market with makers and vintage vendors. Local makers and vintage vendors will come together to create a unique shopping experience.
First Sunday Artisan Fair (Historic Downtown Pittsboro, Hillsboro St, Pittsboro) - Local vendors and nonprofits will be set up along Hillsboro Street in downtown Pittsboro on Sunday. spend some time listening to the music of Eric Bannon and enjoy some food from local food trucks.

Waverly Place Fall Wine Walk (Waverly Place , 307 Colonades Way, Cary) - Shop and sip for a good cause on Friday in Cary! A $15 donation to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund allows access to the event along with a sampling cup.

On stage

Mipso (North Carolina Museum of Art, 2110 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh) - The Chapel Hill-based band will be performing Saturday.

Gray Young, Lacy Jags, Youth League (Kings, 14 W Martin St., Raleigh) - This album release show is Friday night.
Rod Man at Goodnights (Goodnight's Comedy Club, 861 W. Morgan St., Raleigh) - Rod Man quickly became one of the most in-demand comedians in the country following his first place finish on "Last Comic Standing" in 2014, and has racked up appearances on "ComicView," "The Tonight Show," and "The Mo'Nique Show." He'll perform Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Summer L.O.V.E. Show (The Cary Theater, 122 E Chatham Street, Cary) - On Saturday, some of the best vocalists, guitarists, musicians, and entertainers in the Raleigh-Durham area come together on stage to perform their hearts out with love-themed content. Tickets are $15.
Anything Goes Late Show (Goodnight's Comedy Club, 861 W. Morgan St., Raleigh) - On Saturday night, local comics will perform their dirtiest material.
Craig Robinson (Raleigh Improv, 1224 Parkside Main Street, Cary) - Known for playing Darryl in NBC's The Office, Robinson will be headlining Improv Raleigh this weekend.
