Lazy Daze Arts and Crafts Festival (Downtown Cary) - This two day festival features more than 300 artists from 16 states, multiple stages of live music, a beer garden and plenty of food trucks. Check it out Saturday and Sunday in downtown Cary.
Beats n Bars (American Tobacco Campus, Durham) - This three day festival celebrates everything hip-hop. There are conferences, performances and more happening at American Tobacco Campus starting Friday.
Chapel Hill Brewfest (Chapel Hill Farmers Market, 201 S. Estes Drive, Chapel Hill) - During this special Saturday market, you can enjoy free samples from tons of local breweries, live music and more.
Pizza Hut to expand beer delivery service
International Night Market (726 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham) - Head to Fullsteam Brewery on Friday night for this market featuring about dozen local merchants.
Packapalooza (Hillsborough Street, Raleigh) - This all-day block party and street festival includes live music, vendors, games, arts and crafts and a water slide. It all happens Saturday on Hillsborough Street.
Free Things in Life Music and Art Festival (All People's Grill, 6122 Guess Rd, Durham) - This outdoor festival includes art, music and local entrepreneurs. Check it out on Sunday in Durham.

Live music

Brad Paisley (Coastal Credit Union Music Park, 3801 Rock Quarry Rd, Raleigh) - The country singer will perform Friday night with special guests Kane Brown and Tyminsk.

Masters of the Mic (Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary) - Mr. Cheeks, Doug. E. Fresh, Eric B and Rakim, Blackstreet, Naughty by Nature, and Slick Rick will perform during this concert at Booth Amphitheatre Friday night.
A Pop of Music Concert Series (Village Draft House, 428 Daniels St, Raleigh) - This casual Sunday series kicks off at Village Draft House in Raleigh. The show features musicians from the Raleigh Symphony playing family favorites along with traditional orchestra selections.
Be Loud! (Cat's Cradle, 300 E. Main St., Carrboro) - Matthew Sweet, The Right Profile and The Sex Police headline this two night benefit concert at Cat's Cradle this weekend. Proceeds will support the underserved adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer population.
More Fun Monster Drawing Rally (NCMA, 2110 Blue Ridge Rd, Raleigh) - This live drawing event and fundraiser features 75 artists at all stages of their careers taking shifts to draw in front of a live audience. Finished drawings are immediately available for $50 each. The evening also includes a collaborative art project, music and food trucks. It all happens Friday night starting at 5:30 p.m.
Bobby Bones (Carolina Theatre of Durham, 309 W Morgan St, Durham) - The radio host brings his "Red Hoodie" comedy tour to Carolina Theatre of Durham Saturday night.
The Shape of Water (NCMA, 2110 Blue Ridge Rd, Raleigh) - Enjoy an outdoor screening of this film Saturday night.
Jurassic Quest (Raleigh Convention Center, 500 South Salisbury Street, Raleigh) - This dinosaur exhibit features more than 100 ultra-realistic, life-size animatronic dinosaurs. Visitors can interact with these huge creatures, learn about them and even ride a few. There will also be inflatables, fossil digs and more fun. The show runs Friday through Sunday at the Raleigh Convention Center.
