Foodie fun

Raleigh Brewing's 6th Anniversary Party (3709 Neil Street, Raleigh) - Help this brewery celebrate six years in business on Saturday. There will be live music, food trucks, giveaways and special rare beer releases.
Toast to the Triangle (NCSU McKimmon Center, 1101 Gorman St, Raleigh) - Thirty of the Triangle's best restaurants and beverage providers will be providing samples and competing to be named the best of the evening during this annual event on Sunday night at the N.C. State McKimmon Center. The event helps raise funds for fundraiser for the Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities.
Jimbo's Annual Backyard BBQ Competition (Stonewall Farm, 1408 Sid Mitchell Rd. , Youngsville) - More than 30 local barbecue teams will be competing in a four meat category competition on Saturday at Stonewall Farm in Youngsville. There will be live music, food trucks, beer, barbecue plates and more.
#ncmaLATE Cocktails and Craftivism (NC Museum of Art, 2110 Blue Ridge Rd., Raleigh) - This late-night party includes art making, performances and silent disco. The fun starts at 9:30 p.m. Friday at the N.C. Museum of Art.

Downtown Cary Food & Flea (Fidelity Bank Plaza, 100 W. Chatham Street, Cary) - This monthly artisan market is Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. There will be food trucks, craft beer and local arts and craft vendors.
Craft Cider Tasting Experience (The Glass Jug, 5410 Highway 55, Durham) - Head to The Glass Jug in Durham on Saturday to sample and learn about craft ciders. Punch cards ($8 for five small pours and $12 for 10 small pours) are being sold. In addition to great cider, Bulkogi food truck will also be on hand.

Broadway by Request with the North Carolina Symphony (Meymandi Concert Hall, 2 East South Street, Raleigh) - The N.C. Symphony invites you to choose the hits you want to hear during these shows Friday and Saturday nights at Meymandi Concert Hall. Vote for your favorite romantic and inspiring favorites to be performed by Broadway stars Jennifer Hope Wills and Nicholas Rodriguez.
Pop-Up Chorus (NC Museum of Art, 2110 Blue Ridge Rd., Raleigh) - Sing your heart out at the North Carolina Museum of Art on Saturday afternoon. At this event you will learn to sing two songs - "We Are Family" by Sister Sledge and "True Colors" by Cyndi Lauper. Tickets are $8 for museum members and $10 for nonmembers.

Brad Williams (Goodnights Comedy Club, 861 W. Morgan St., Raleigh) - Brad Williams got his start opening for Carols Mencia. He is known for raunchy, no-holds-barred comedy. See him at Goodnights Comedy Club Thursday through Saturday.
The Gong Show (Kings, 14 W Martin St., Raleigh) - The iconic and irreverent talent show will highlight some of the area's most unusually talented and unique performers. Enjoy the fun at Kings in downtown Raleigh Friday night. Tickets are $5.

BrickUniverse LEGO Fan Expo (Raleigh Convention Center, 500 S Salisbury St, Raleigh) - This LEGO convention will feature vendors, building zones and amazing LEGO creations. The event runs Saturday and Sunday.
The Lego fan convention BrickUniverse is at the Raleigh Convention Center March 28-29, 2015.
Glenwood St. Baldrick's Event (Raleigh Beer Garden, 614 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh) - Help raise money to fund the fight against children's cancers and have a great time on Saturday at Raleigh Beer Garden. This event, which kicks off at 11 a.m., will feature a children's zone with face painting, balloon art and more fun.
Snow Day (Waverly Place, 307 Colonades Way, Cary) - Waverly Place hosts its 8th annual Snow Day on Saturday starting at 11 a.m. There will be sledding hills, snowball fights, music, trampolines and more.
Monster Jam (PNC Arena, 1400 Edwards Mill Rd., Raleigh) - Enjoy this adrenaline-charged monster truck event on Sunday at PNC Arena.

Astronomy Series: Night Sky at the Eno (West Point on the Eno Environmental Education Pavilion, 5253 N Roxboro St, Durham) - Take a tour of the night sky on Friday at the West Point on the Eno. Staff will be providing high-powered binoculars and telescopes for high quality viewing.
Inflatables Day at the Park (Durham Central Park, 502 Foster St., Durham) - Head to the park on Saturday for this family-friendly event featuring inflatables, human hamster balls, face painting, raffles, food trucks and more. Proceeds will go to help with the relocation of the Northgate Carousel to a new location.
