RALEIGH, N.C. — There is a lot coming up this weekend, including live music, lemurs and a chicken coop tour.

Live music

Band Together Main Event (Red Hat Amphitheater, 500 S. McDowell St., Raleigh) - St. Paul and The Broken Bones headline this concert at Red Hat Amphitheatre on Saturday night. They will be joined by Toots and The Maytals. Proceeds go to Band Together's nonprofit partner, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle
Hootie & The Blowfish: Group Therapy Tour (Coastal Credit Union Music Park, 3801 Rock Quarry Rd., Raleigh) - The band plays Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek in Raleigh on Friday.
NC Symphony Presents: A Space Spectacular (Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary) - The NC Symphony will take you on a journey into space in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo moon landing. The show is Saturday at Booth Amphitheatre.
Blackbear (Durham Performing Arts Center, 123 Vivian St., Durham) - See the songwriter at DPAC Sunday with special guests Elohim and Gashi.

Lemurs, dogs, chickens and beavers

Sit, Stay, NCMA Movie Party with Isle of Dogs (North Carolina Museum of Art, 2110 Blue Ridge Rd., Raleigh) - You can bring your dog to this movie screening at the North Carolina Museum of Art on Saturday. Before the screening, join in the festivities featuring local vendors, music, dog arts and crafts, demonstrations by the American Kennel Club, a splash zone and more.
Tour D'Coop (Wake County Backyards, Raleigh) - Urban Ministries of Wake County presents this tour of more than 20 backyard chicken coops, bee hives and local gardens on Saturday.

15th Annual Beaver Queen Pageant (Duke Park, 106 W Knox St, Durham) - The Beaver Queen Pageant is the Triangle's own special mix of folly, pageantry and humor. Contestants take on beaver personalities and compete for the title of Beaver Queen with their fashion, talent and personality. The pageant is being held at Duke Park on Saturday.
Lemurpalooza (Duke Lemur Center, 3705 Erwin Road, Durham) - Enjoy a festive evening celebrating and supporting the amazing animals of the Duke Lemur Center on Friday. Reservations are required.

Food and fun

Seek Raleigh (Dorothea Dix Park, 2105 Umstead Drive, Raleigh) - Head to Dix Park this weekend for this free art series. It kicks off Friday night with night-time projections, movies and performances. Things continue Saturday with a family-friendly festival that will include food trucks and performances.
Farm to Fork Picnic (Fearrington Village, 2000 Fearrington Village Center, Pittsboro) - This annual food festival is Sunday at Fearrington Village in Pittsboro. There will be samples from dozens of the area's best chefs, farmers, artisan producers and beverage providers.
EasterSeals UCP Triangle Walk With Me (North Carolina Museum of Art, 2110 Blue Ridge Rd., Raleigh) - Gear up for the Easterseals UCP Triangle Walk With Me event on Saturday. This event will help raise money for Easterseals, which makes a difference in the lives of children and adults in the Triangle area living with disabilities and mental health challenges.
The Great Durham Odyssey (The Durham Hotel, 315 East Chapel Hill St., Durham) - Help celebrate Durham's sesquicentennial with this race on Sunday.
Durham Bulls: State Fair Night (Durham Bulls Athletic Park, 409 Blackwell St., Durham) - Experience the carnival atmosphere at a baseball game on Sunday. You won't want to miss the petting zoo or special food items available for one night only.
QuirkCon (Durham Convention Center, 301 W. Morgan St., Durham) - This conference celebrates the weirdo in all of us. There will be gaming, cosplay, anime, comics and more fun at the Durham Convention Center Friday through Sunday.
Rock & Brew (Lafayette Village, 8450 Honeycutt Rd., Raleigh) - Head to Lafayette Village on Saturday for this afternoon of live music and specialty beer. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Mouse Dreams Foundation.
Apex Latino Festival (Historic Downtown Apex, N Salem St & Center St., Apex) - Enjoy a day celebrating Latino culture in downtown Apex on Saturday afternoon. There will be food, children's crafts, a pinata breaking ceremony and more.
REX Hospital Open (The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation , 2201 Wakefield Plantation Dr, Raleigh) - There will be live music, children's activities and food trucks at this annual sporting event in Wakefield this weekend.
Lunch Bag Comedy Hour (Morgan Street Food Hall, 411 West Morgan Street, Raleigh) - Head to Morgan Street Food Hall on Saturday for comedy show.
Holly Springs Salamanders Opening Night (Ting Park, 1151 N Main St, Holly Springs) - The team opens its season against the Morehead City Marlins on Saturday.
