I'm meteorologist, Kat Campbell in the severe weather center, here was some good news for your weekend forecast and not only does it look like a beautiful weekend, but we are also looking at improving air quality for the weekend. Friday code orange for some counties mainly to the west. I do think it's still going to be hazy on Friday. We're kind of right in between the code yellow and code orange there but Saturday moderate yellow air quality for everyone. We're in the green by Sunday with good healthier air to breathe in on Sunday. And this is all thanks to a change in our wind direction and northwest winds still in place on Friday and that's going to continue to filter in some of the air from the wildfires in Canada, steer it our direction by Saturday. It's a west wind and Sunday, we're completely cutting off that flow with a south wind. It will be quite breezy without warming wind. We go from 82 on Friday, 86 on Saturday and we're back near 90 on Sunday. Our forecast right now. 89 not entirely out of the question that we could have our 1st 90 of the year though. Future Cast. Starting out nice and quiet for your Friday morning. There's a slim chance of a shower storm in Southeast Virginia Friday here in North Carolina, things should be quiet, high pressure, right overhead, keeping the weather beautiful throughout the day on Saturday. And then as we move into Sunday, we start to see a warm front lifting in from the southwest that could bring some showers to the western part of the state. We're more likely to see that rain. By the time we get to Monday, some of those showers could move in overnight into Monday. But I've lowered rain chances for the weekend, just a 20% chance of rain on Sunday. Now that it's June, let's talk about humidity hasn't been so bad so far this season, it's going to be very comfortable for the next couple of days. Friday, refreshing dew points in the forties. Saturday, 51. The dew point that puts us in the comfy category on the muggy meter and it's tolerable on Sunday. It can definitely get worse in June, but dew points are likely to climb back into the lower sixties. Great Pool. The forecast for your Friday, if you want to head with the kids during the afternoon, temperatures should be in the upper seventies to lower eighties all around a beautiful day and a warmer pattern is likely in the long range, June 16th through June 22nd above normal temperatures likely in the south and here in North Carolina as well, much of the central and eastern part of the US as for the rainfall out during that same time period, it really could go either way. The western part of the state above normal rainfall expected. Our seven day forecast definitely looks like a June forecast across the board. High temperatures are in the eighties, low temperatures in the fifties for just two more mornings and then the more humid air moves in and that comes with some moisture. Monday is our best chance for rain, but we will have some small rain chances other days next week too.

WHEN IT CAME TO LIGHT THAT A FLORIDA GRAND JURY HAD BEEN IMPANELLED, IT WAS CLEAR TO MOST OF US IT WAS PRETTY LIKELY THE SPECIAL COUNSEL CONCLUDED THAT VENUE, WHERE THE CHARGES SHOULD BE BROUGHT, PROBABLY HAD TO BE IN FLORIDA BECAUSE THAT'S WHERE THE PRIMARY EVENTS TOOK PLACE WITH RESPECT TO THE RETENTION OF THE DOCUMENTS AND OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE. I THINK JACK SMITH PROBABLY RESEARCHED THAT A LOT AND CONCLUDED THAT THE SAFER COURSE TO BRING THESE CHARGES IN FLORIDA. SO IT'S GOING TO BE A FLORIDA GRAND JURY. A FLORIDA JURY. FLORIDA JUDGES, FLORIDA APPELLATE COURT ALL THE WAY UP TO THE SUPREME COURT. >> LET ME BRING LAURA BACK IN. THE FORMER PRESIDENT AND WE'VE CONFIRMED YOU SEE ON THE SCREEN, TWO SOURCES CONFIRMING MR. TRUMP WILL BE INDICTED IN A DOCUMENTS PROBE, BUT IT'S A PRETTY WIDE TERM. HOW MANY AND WHAT ARE THE RELATIVE SERIOUSNESS OF THE CHARGES AT THE PROSECUTOR'S DISPOSAL? >> THE MOST SERIOUS WOULD BE OBVIOUSLY SHOWING CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS TO SOMEONE WHO'S NOT AUTHORIZED TO RECEIVE THEM OR EVEN OBSTRUCTING JUSTICE. THAT'S TALKING ABOUT 20 YEARS THERE. OF COURSE, WE NEED TO SEE THE PRECISE CHARGES IN ORDER TO EVALUATE EXACTLY WHAT HE'S FACING, LESTER, AND ALL ALONG, HE'S MAINTAINED HE'S DONE NOTHING WRONG. HIS DEFENSES HAVE RANGED FROM I CAN DECLASSIFY ANYTHING I WANT TO I CAN DECLASSIFY ANYTHING IN MY MIND. BUT AT LEAST ON SOME OF THE ESPIONAGE CHARGES, WHICH IS WHAT WE THINK MIGHT BE AT PLAYY HERE BASED ON SOME OF OUR REPORTING, THE PROSECUTORS DON'T ACTUALLY HAVE TO PROVE ANYTHING WAS CLASSIFIED. ALL THEY HAVE T PROVE IS THAT IT WAS NATIONAL DEFENSE INFORMATION. SOMETHING THAT WOULD BE USEFUL TO U.S. ADVERSARIES AND THAT IT WAS A CLOSE HOLD AND THAT HE DIDN'T HAVE THE AUTHORIZATION TO RECEIVE THEM. CERTAINLY, HE DIDN'T HAVE THE AUTHORIZATION TO RECEIVE THEM IF HE WAS NO LONGER PRESIDENT AND HE WAS RECEIVING THEM AT FLORIDA IN MAR-A-LAGO IN AN UNSECURE SET ING. THEY GOT MORE MATERIAL AND A LETTER FROM TRUMP'S ATTORNEY SAYING ESSENTIALLY THAT WAS IT. EVERYTHING THEY HAD. THAT TURNED OUT NOT TO BE TRUE BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU'RE SEEING HERE IN AUGUST, ANOTHER BATCH OF DOCUMENTS TAKEN BY THE FBI. YOU'LL REMEMBER THAT NOW INFAMOUS PICTURE OF THOSE DOCUMENTS LAID OUT. DONALD TRUMP AT THE TIME PUSHED BACK VERY STRONGLY ON THAT. HE DIDN'T LIKE TO SEE THIS IS THE PICTURE. DIDN'T LIKE TO SEE THAT PICTURE OUT THERE. NOW, IT WAS LATER IN AUGUST THAT A JUDGE UNSEALED THAT SEARCH WARRANT THAT LAID OUT WHAT LAURA HAS BEEN TALKING ABOUT HERE. WHICH POTENTIAL FEDERAL CRIMES DONALD TRUMP MAY HAVE VIOLATED INCLUDING FOR EXAMPLE, THE ESPIONAGE ACT. SOME OF THESE CLUES, DETAILS, CAME FROM THAT SEARCH WARRANT. THE TRUMP TEAM TRIED TO PUSH BACK. THEY WANTED A SPECIAL MASTER APPOINTED HERE. THERE WAS SOME LEGAL BACK AND FORTH. YOU PROBABLY REMEMBER SOME OF THE COVERAGE FROM THAT, BUT THAT'S WHEN JACK SMITH WAS NAMED BY ATTORNEY GENERAL MERRICK GARLAND TO OVERSEE BOTH OF THESE SORT OF BUCKETS HERE IN THIS BROADER INVESTIGATION. THE CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS PIECE. THAT'S WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT NOW. THE 2 OFFICERS INVOLVED IN THE SHOOTING DEATH OF JADEN JOHNSON AND THAT HAS ANGERED THE LEADERSHIP OF THE FAYETTEVILLE POLICE FOUNDATION, WRAL, FAYETTEVILLE, REPORTER GILBERT BAEZ IS LIVE AFTER TALKING WITH THE CITY'S MAYOR ABOUT THIS DECISION. GOODWIN, GOOD AFTERNOON. >> IT DEFINITELY CAN. AND THAT VOTE WAS TAKEN ON JUNE 5TH DURING A WORK SESSION WITH THE CITY COUNCIL. WANT TO GIVE A LITTLE BACKGROUND ON THIS CASE. THIS WAS A CASE WHERE THE POLICE WERE CALLED TO DAVID JOHNSON'S GRANDPARENTS HOME JULY. 1ST OF LAST YEAR BECAUSE SHE WAS SUFFERING A MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS. WE DO HAVE SOME FOOD. WE WANT TO SHOW YOU OF THE OFFICERS COMING INTO OF A HOME AFTER A JUDGE ON 2 WAS SHOT 17 TIMES BY POLICE OFFICERS. NOW AT ONE POINT, JOHNSON DID PULL A GUN OUT AND PUT IT TO HER HEAD. BUT WHEN SHE PUT IT DOWN, OFFICERS WERE ABLE TO SUBDUE HER AND THEN SHOTS WERE FIRED. NOW THE NORTH CAROLINA ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE, THE FBI AND INTERNAL FROM FABLE POLICE INVESTIGATORS. THEY'VE CLEARED THE OFFICERS OF ANY WRONGDOING AND THE STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL JOSH STEIN SAID HE WOULD NOT BE PURSUING ANY CHARGES AGAINST THE OFFICERS. HOWEVER, THE FAMILY DID. JOHNSON IS PURSUING A CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATION CASE AGAINST THE 2 OFFICERS. THE CITY'S DECISION MEANS THAT THOSE OFFICERS WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THEIR OWN ATTORNEYS TO DEFEND THEMSELVES. >> WE SUPPORT OUR POLICE DEPARTMENT. THIS PARTICULAR CASE THE INLAY WAS AROUND 17 TIMES AND SO. >> IN THE PAST WE'VE HAD THE BENEFIT OF BEING ABLE TO SEE THE BODY CAM FOOTAGE TO GIVE US SOME MORE CONTEXT FOR MAKING A TOUGH DECISION ABOUT THAT IN THIS CASE TO WORK. >> NOW THE FABLE POLICE FOUNDATION'S RESPONSE. THE DECISION WAS LENGTHY AND HIGHLIGHTS THE DISAPPOINTMENT AND A VOTE OF ONE POINT THEY WANT TO MAKE IS THAT THIS DECISION BY THE CITY COUNCIL WITHHOLD FUNDING TO ASSIST FOR THE GENERAL LEGAL COUNSEL OF THE OFFICERS NOT ONLY JEOPARDIZES THE CITY'S POTENTIAL LEGAL AND FINANCIAL LIABILITIES, BUT ALSO FAILS TO DEMONSTRATE RESPONSIBLE REPRESENTATION WITH THE CITIZENS WHO ELECTED THEM. NOW, THIS IS NOT A DONE DEAL AND TALKING WITH THE MAYOR THIS MORNING, HE SAID THAT THEY ARE STILL ASKING JUDGE JIM AMMONS TO RELEASE THAT BODY CAM FOOTAGE. KEN, IF THEY'RE ABLE TO GET THAT FOOTAGE AND TAKE A LOOK AT AT THE CITY COUNCIL MAY RECONSIDER THAT DECISION.
