<p>Hello everyone. I'm meteorologist Mike Mays in the WRL severe weather center with our forecast update for this Wednesday night. It's been a cold evening temperatures running in the thirties and by daybreak it will be another freeze. Maybe not as cold as what we woke to this morning, which a lot of you had teens in your neighborhood tomorrow morning. It's mainly in the twenties. 23 at Roxburgh in Durham here in Raleigh about 27 Goldsboro, 26 Fayetteville 28. So there is a likelihood for a hard freeze again, maybe not as cold as this morning and also the possibility for some frost. So make sure you leave yourself a little extra time in the morning in case there is frost on the windshield and you do have to scrape. So by 8 a.m. once the sun's been up just a little bit 31 at 8 a.m. you can shed the coats later in the afternoon but watch out for some frost in the morning and the kids at the bus stop will be cold 27 at six. That's the low here in the triangle 8 a.m. There's your 31 by 10 am. We're up to about 44 and what a quick temperature turnaround going from 27 in the morning to 60 later on during the afternoon. That's our forecast high. We have a southwest wind 5 to 10 MPH tomorrow that will help warm us up by lunchtime, we're 53 by three o'clock 60 tomorrow evening, we'll drop into the forties instead of the 30 like we did this evening. So tomorrow will be a dry day Friday. We start to see clouds approach from the system that's moving into California right now. It doesn't look all that impressive. But once it moves to the east, moisture greets it from the Gulf of Mexico. It will blossom into a widespread area of rain. And so for us for the day, tomorrow, we expect plenty of sunshine. We'll call it partly to mostly sunny. Its upper level clouds shift through the area in the morning. And I think later in the afternoon, it will be mostly sunny 62 for Fayetteville, 59 at Wilmington, 51 at Boone. So the entire state moderates from what it was over the past couple of days. Friday, we expect mostly cloudy skies. Now, this picture you see here is the time stamp for about five o'clock in the afternoon on Friday. So at that point, it would be an overcast. There is some light rain around. We dropped it to about a 30% chance for light rain. 60 is the forecast high 63 Fayetteville 49 in Boone 67 in Morehead City and then there is rain for Saturday. Now, each model run that comes out and tomorrow we'll have high resolution model data, giving us a better idea of timing and totals for Saturday. Each model run that's been coming out on the European shows it progressively wetter and wetter. This later run shows quite a bit of rain across the area. And again, this time stamp is for five o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday. So our forecast for overnight, another freeze 24 Roxboro 27 in South Hill 23 at Solar City 25 at Wilson. Our southern counties, everybody's in the twenties. Later on during the afternoon, upper fifties to low sixties. It'll be a beautiful afternoon with mostly sunny skies. Seven day forecast. It's a mild weekend highs in the sixties. There are your rain chances. 65 on Saturday, 66 on Sunday, 65 on Monday. Back to some cooler weather, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
