You are truly truly the best Meteorologist in the WORLD!

I grew up watching you when my family and I moved from Maryland to Raleigh in the mid 80s. I wanted to be a meteorologist! When I was 5 years old, I wrote it down in a kids book "what I want to be when I grow up."

However, I only made it to the Assignment Desk in TV News. I wish I would have become meteorologist...because I love weather and there needs to be more African American weather folks.

I tweeted that you are best meteorologist in the whole wide world around the first week of May. You are truly the best!! #saiditfirst on Twitter (LOL).

Although, I live in CLT now, I watch you every chance I get when I visit my folks Raleigh (just about every other weekend). I even have my parents watching you. You're a household name. My folks will say what did "Greg" say like you are family member.

No matter where I am, I always check-in to see what you have to say about weather and/or when significant weather is possible.

Just know that I won'travel without "YOUR FORECAST" You cover it all and always "RIGHT ON THE MONEY" with your forecast! You are the BEST!!! I wish you many more years in Raleigh @ WRAL.
