My "memorable weather moment" with Greg was many years ago when he first came to WRAL.

It was April Fool's Day. I, and of course, all those tuned in, listened in earnest to his forecast of snow. In his "poker face," "tongue in cheek" manner, he forecast a very believable forecast for snow. Afterall, he was new, young, and there was no reason to not believe him.

He later "April Fooled" us all, and his humorous manner and style clicked in – and has been there ever since. I have shared this story to many over the years – it surely made an impression – his special wit and sense of humor has been enjoyed/appreciated ever since!
