Mr. Fishel,

My husband and I moved to NC in 1990 and he chose you after one broadcast to be his personal weather contact. If "Greg" says it, it is gospel as far as my husband was concerned.

I lost my husband suddenly a few days after Hurricane Floyd in 1999 and your broadcast has been a comfort to my home each day. I can't imagine a day without your visit and information to guide my life.

Thank you so much for being there, especially in my time of loss when I was all alone in NC with no relatives. It is comforting to know that after 5pm each Monday, I can expect that you will be on the job and entertaining as well as informative. Thank you is not a strong enough sentiment for the comfort your tv presence continuously gives to me. I look forward to many more years of your weather broadcast and teaching that you give to your viewers during those broadcasts.
