I recall when Greg was fairly new to WRAL that he made a forecast stating that "he would stake his reputation as a meteorologist that it would be snowing in Raleigh by 5 p.m." It did not snow and I did not see him again for a few days. Youth is such a wonderful thing. Thank you Greg for many years of enjoyable forecasts.
