Sunday looks to be another perfect day in Raleigh as the North Carolina State Fair concludes its annual run, WRAL meteorologist Kim Deaner said.
The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a high temperature in the upper 70s. Clouds will move in Sunday evening but it will remain relatively warm, with overnight lows barely dipping below 60 degrees.
After that, the heat moves back in, pushing temperatures above the 80-degree mark through mid-week, Deaner said.
The instability that will raise the thermostat will also bring the chance for rain Monday and Tuesday.
By the end of the week, Deaner forecast another temperature swing, this time to more seasonable Halloween weather.
