Over the past week, about 6% coronavirus tests in NC have returned positive. The state has not seen a rate that low since early October. — Just about 6 percent of the coronavirus tests administered in North Carolina over the past week have come back positive, the first time the rolling, seven-day average has been that low since October. The state also reported another 3,551 coronavirus infections Thursday, 1,498 people hospitalized with COVID-19 and 63 more virus-related deaths.
