A hospital was damaged on Sunday in Fayetteville as a line of storms rolled through central North Carolina.
According to a spokesperson for Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, the cover for a part of the HVAC was dislodged by strong winds from a line of storms around 9:30 a.m. and shattered the windows of two patients' rooms on the seventh floor of the hospital.

The hospital said one of the rooms was occupied at the time, but no one was injured when the glass shattered.
The staff moved the patient from the room and began assessing and repairing the damage.
"The safety of our patients, visitors, and staff remains our highest priority, and we appreciate the quick response from our team in managing this weather-related event," said Chaka Jordan, vice president of marking and communications for the hospital.
Storms leave trail of damage across central NC
The hospital was one of the many places around North Carolina that were damaged by the storms.
In Rocky Mount, the storms ripped part of the side off of Flat Iron Harley-Davidson around 10 a.m. Sunday.
While nothing else was damaged inside the dealership, wind gust ripped off the entire facade of the building.
"It was a huge relief, because we could have easily been outside moving bikes around," said Lizzie Skinner, an employee at the store. "It's a blessing to all of us that everyone stayed safe and no one got hit by debris."
Employees said Flying Iron Harley-Davidson will be open during the coming week for regular business hours and will look for a permanent fix to the damage.
Crews spent most of the day repairing the damage to the dealership and put up a tarp to minimalize the damage.
In Wayne County, part of the roof of a building in La Grange was ripped off by the winds.
WRAL meteorologists declared Sunday a WRAL Weather Alert Day for the strong potential for wind damage ahead of the storm's arrival.
Some areas were forecasted to see wind gusts above 50 mph, prompting the National Weather Service to announce a high wind warning for several counties, including Wake, Johnston and Wayne Counties.

Storms that hammered NC left 9 dead in the southeast
This same line of storms killed several people in the southeast before crossing through North Carolina on Sunday.
At least nine people have died across the southeast, including eight people in Kentucky as creeks swelled from heavy rain and water-covered roads.
Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear said Sunday that hundreds of people stranded by flooding had to be rescued.
