For the most part, this weekend's NFL games were decided on the field and not by the weather affecting the field. Sure, the winds in Buffalo were pretty rough, but elsewhere, the weather cooperated to allow the players on the field determine the outcomes of the games and who goes to the playoffs.

Of course, it's not always that way.

Matter of fact, there have been dozens of NFL games that have been severely affected by the weather.  Remember the Fog Bowl in Chicago in the 80s?  How about the Ice Bowl?  Both made the NFL's Top Ten worst weather football games.

Even locally, we've had some doozies of weather-affected games.  For a few years in the late 1990s-early 2000s, it seemed like NC State had at least one game a year soaked by a tropical system or similar rainstorm.

What's the nastiest weather you've experienced during a football game?
