MIKE MOSS SAYS: Tiffany, Unfortunately we don't have any way to make a firm estimate as to when the pine pollen will cease to be an issue, but historically the big period for pine pollen occurs somewhere in the span from late March to mid-May. We just saw the pine pollen flare up in a big way last week (pollen counts Wednesday and Thursday on the order of 130 grains per cubic meter jumped to around 924 on Friday!). If that marks the beginning of the most active period this year, perhaps we'll be done with it by mid to late April, but that's just speculation based on the heaviest pollen typically lasting about 2-4 weeks.
