Was there a meteor shower or something tonight? My family and I watched what seemed to be a bunch of fallen stars!!!! It was totally amazing and we just wanted to know what it was. Thank You.

It's called the Geminid shower and happens each year in December when the Earth crosses the debris trail of an asteroid-like object called 3200 Phaethon.
