MIKE MOSS SAYS: Claire, Climate summaries for those months from the Raleigh-Durham airport show monthly average relative humidities of 68, 65 and 62 percent, respectively, for a "summer" mean of 65 percent.This compares to normal values of 74, 76 and 77 percent, or a normal summer mean of 76 percent. The lower than normal values this year are reflective of both dry conditions and unusually warm temperatures observed around the area, especially for August.
