If there is ever another hurricane season where the Greek alphabet is used again, if one of those storms did damage enough for retirement, what would it be replaced by, if anything?

MIKE MOSS SAYS:      Aaron,    In effect, it would be replaced by itself! The World Meteorological Organization committee for naming Atlantic Basin storms decided last year that if a Greek letter storm is severe enough to be retired, it will be added to the list of retired names with a year-specific designation such as "Gamma2007," but then the letter itself would remain available for use in future seasons.
