I am trying to find the water temperature for the beaches, so far I have had no luck. Do you know or would you please point me in the right direction.

Also, you might find these address useful, where water temperatures are collected into a part of an overall beach forecast for much of the NC coast in a written form. They also contain information on rip current hazards, expected winds and weather, and tide information.
