Wayne deputies find two meth labs, make arrest
Wayne County sheriff's deputies arrested a Mount Olive man after finding two meth labs, including one in the back of his pickup truck.
Posted — UpdatedDeputies on patrol found the mobile meth lab in a pickup belonging to Teddy Alan Moody, 32, at 109 Spring Creek Drive in Seven Springs Tuesday. Investigators with the sheriff's office's drug squad and the State Bureau of Investigation found a second meth lab.
Investigators said both labs used the "one-pot" method, which makes the labs smaller and more mobile.
Moody, of 390 Thigpen Dairy Road in Mount Olive, was arrested on outstanding warrants from Duplin County. He will be charged in Wayne County with manufacturing methamphetamine and trafficking in methamphetamine.
According to state Department of Correction records, Moody was put on probation in 2007 for drug possession in Lenoir County.
