Wayne County car dealer offers reward for leads in vandalism

La Grange, N.C. — A Wayne County car dealer is offering a reward to help authorities find those responsible for vandalism and theft.
The sheriff's office said someone broke windows and stole tires and custom rims from a 2010 Camaro at Dan Wise Chevrolet in La Grange on Oct. 27. On Nov. 26, someone broke the windows of four cars on the dealer's lot.
Anyone with information about the crimes is asked to call Det. Sgt. Larry N. Mitchell at 919-731-1541 or Wayne County Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255. The car dealer is offering $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.
