Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh police had to close part of a downtown Raleigh street Friday morning because of a water main break.
Traffic was diverted on Davie Street at McDowell and Salisbury streets for several hours while crews repaired the 12-inch valve.
City officials did not say what caused the break. There were no significant traffic issues reported.
