RALEIGH, N.C. — Officials were on the scene Friday of a water main break in Wake County.
WRAL's Rosalia Fodera reports crews were on the scene at 9704 Koupella Drive, which is off Durant Road and not far from WakeMed North Hospital. There's a small hole in the ground where a neighbor saw water bubbling over around 9:30 Friday morning and called it in.

There were five homes without water as of 4 p.m. Officials said water should be restored later in the evening. No cars or bicycles can drive over an area that had been marked off because of the risk of a sinkhole.

The cause of the leak hasn't been determined.
