Water leak causes ceiling to collapse at Raleigh condominiums

— Three families were forced to leave their homes overnight after a ceiling collapsed in Raleigh.

The Raleigh Police Department said a water leak at the Stoney Hollow Condominiums, located on Longstreet Drive in north Raleigh, caused the collapse.

Duke Energy crews had to shut off power to the building during their response. No one was hurt, but the units were deemed unlivable until repairs can be made.
