Warrenton man charged in Henderson domestic homicide
Vance County authorities have charged a Warrenton man in what they called a "domestic situation" that left a Henderson woman dead.

HENDERSON, N.C. — Vance County authorities have charged a Warrenton man in what they called a "domestic situation" that left a Henderson woman dead.
Deputies found Ruth Antionette Mallette, 59, dead of a gunshot wound in her home on Brunswick Lane shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday, authorities said.
Michael McKenzie Talley, 47, of 1112 Cole Farm Road, was charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a felon in the case. He was being held without bond in the Vance County jail.
No other details about the case were released.
