Raleigh, N.C. — A Wake County woman faces a revenge porn charge after posting naked photos of her husband on social media, according to an arrest warrant.
Rose Marie Thompson, 50, of 11337 Peed Dead End Road, was charged this week with disclosure of private images.
According to the warrant and an application for a warrant to search Thompson's Facebook account, her husband went to authorities last month after learning from his friends and co-workers that she had sent them photos of him through Facebook Messenger.
One of the pictures showed him sleeping on the couch in her house, wearing some women's clothing but with his genitals exposed, according to the search warrant application.
The couple is estranged after 33 years of marriage, and Thompson's husband said he believes she posted the photos because he has primary custody of their son, the search warrant application states.
North Carolina outlawed such postings in 2015, making them a felony and allowing victims to sue perpetrators for damages.
Thompson was given a $3,000 bond and ordered to have no direct or indirect contact with her husband.
