RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh couple has been charged with felony child abuse of their 5-month-old daughter, according to an arrest warrant.

Araybian Sky Cromwell, 18, and Marquise Gregory Del Hayden, 20, both of Fox Ridge Manor Road, were each charged with one count of felony neglect and child abuse inflicting serious bodily injury.

According to an arrest warrant, the parents "failed to seek medical treatment" for their daughter "after observing injuries to their child's arm." The warrant states that the baby was hospitalized with two arm fractures and brain bleeding but did not indicate when the hospitalization occurred.

According to the warrant, the parents "did not follow medical advice and get proper follow up medical care for the child."

Cromwell and Hayden were each being held Monday on $50,000 secured bonds. They were expected to appear in court Monday afternoon for a preliminary hearing.
