RALEIGH, N.C. — Police are investigating a suspected case of "revenge porn" that started with the Tinder dating app and ended up with some sex videos online.

A woman told Raleigh police that she met a man through Tinder on Oct. 26 and had sex with him that night at his apartment off Glenwood Avenue and Interstate 440, according to an application for a warrant to search the apartment.

The two began dating, she said, and he told her that he runs a website where he performs sex acts on live video that gay men pay to watch, the warrant application states. When the woman went to check the website, she found an ad for another website operated by the man that boasted of new sex videos online and included a picture of him and the woman, according to the warrant application.

The woman got a friend to pay to access the related website, and she found two videos of her having sex with the man in early November and a third of her performing a sex act, the warrant application states. The woman told police that she never gave the man permission to record their sexual encounters and was unaware the videos existed until she found them on the website.

Police searched the apartment on Tuesday, but no charges have been filed in the case to date.
