RALEIGH, N.C. — If you have outdoor plans for the weekend, Saturday is the day to get those done. With 60-degree temperatures, mostly cloudy skies and low risk of rain, it looks to be a pleasant day.

The weather takes a turn Sunday, however, with a low of 40 degrees and wet weather in the forecast for several days.

On Saturday evening rain chances pick up to around 40%.

Then, with a 60% chance of rain, a soggy Sunday kicks off a very rainy work week.

More rain on the way

Temperatures will take a dive Sunday as well, with highs in the low 50s and a low of 40 degrees.

A soggy 7-day forecast shows rain every day of the work week except Wednesday.

Temperatures will rebound a bit on Tuesday, bringing warmer temperatures in the 60s.
