Walk of Hope for Infertility raises awareness for fertility treatment coverage
Raleigh's first Walk of Hope for Infertility on Saturday was held to support couples struggling to have a baby.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The sunshine on Saturday was like a sign of hope for Raleigh's first Walk of Hope for Infertility.
The event happened at Dix Park to support couples struggling to have a baby.

WRAL anchor Renee Chou, who once navigated that road, was the emcee.
Organizers with the national group RESOLVE are calling on lawmakers and employers to cover fertility treatments.
WRAL’s Kathy Hanrahan was presented with the Community Advocate Award for sharing her journey through the WRAL blog “Go Ask Mom.”
