Wake SWAT team, police called to north Raleigh subdivision for welfare check

Raleigh, N.C. — Several law enforcement officers were called to a home in the Windsor Ridge subdivision in north Raleigh Friday afternoon for a welfare check.
The SWAT team from the Wake County Sheriff's Office was called to assist officers from the Raleigh Police Department during an incident that unfolded around noon Friday at a location at Selfridge Court and Rooksley Court.
It was not immediately clear who made the call.
