Wake Officials Investigate Thefts Outside Churches

Raleigh, N.C. — Authorities in Wake County investigated several larcenies from cars outside local churches Sunday.
Two cars were broken into during a church service at Macedonia Baptist Church in Raleigh. The cars’ front windows were broken out and purses and other personal belongings were taken, police said.
Another vehicle was broken into Sunday during a church service at Fairview Baptist Church in Apex, according to sheriff’s officials.
The two churches are within 5 miles of each other. The investigation was continuing.
