Wake man charged with wife's murder
The Wake County man arrested in Virginia last week with his wife's body in the back of his pickup truck was order held without bond Tuesday in her death.

Investigators have not released how or when Sherry Howard, 50, died. Her husband, Sonny Howard, 42, faces life in prison or the death penalty if he is convicted of first-degree murder.
Deputies in Galax, Va., arrested Sonny Howard Wednesday, hours after a neighbor called the Wake County Sheriff's Office to report seeing a body at the Howards' home at 14925 Creedmoor Road.
Investigators tracked him to Galax by following the signal on his cellphone, authorities said.
