A Wake Forest man is facing charges of intimidating a witness.

Kyle Luke Levatino was arrested on June 21 by deputies with the Wake County Sheriff’s Office and charged with intimidating a witness, resisting a public officer and felonious restraint, according to an arrest warrant.

He was given a $25,000 secured bond and was placed in the Wake County Jail. He had a court date on June 24.

According to the warrant, Levatino on June 10 intimidated a woman by first refusing to get out of her vehicle or leave her alone while she was in Holly Springs acting as a witness in a trial.

Officials said Levatino then tried to prevent the woman from giving a statement about him and, instead, force her to retract statements regarding his criminal actions.

Officials said he also eventually tried to restrain her and transport her in a vehicle against her will.

The relationship between Levatino and the woman was not immediately clear.
