Wake Forest man arrested, accused of copying videos that show child rape, bestiality
A Wake Forest man was arrested this week after authorities say he had videos on his computer that showed young girls and boys being sexually exploited.
Posted — UpdatedAn arrest warrant for Royce Cosmo Fuoco, 47, alleges he made copies of videos showing children between the ages of 5 to 13 years old performing sex acts on adult men, and videos that included bestiality and rape.
The Wake County Sheriff's Office began investigating Fuoco after receiving a cyber tip, authorities said.
The warrants describe videos apparently filmed by an adult man as children performed sex acts on him. In at least one video described in the warrants, a man raped a child under the age of 10 and recorded it.
At least one of the children in the videos was between the ages of 3 and 5 and was shown engaging in a sex act with an older female, according to the warrant.
Fuoco was charged with 13 counts of felony sexual exploitation of a minor. He's being held under a $2 million bond at the Wake County Detention Center.
In court on Friday, Fuoco asked a judge to lower his bond due to "his long-time public service." He served as a volunteer firefighter in Wake Forest from 2001 to 2014, according to the town of Wake Forest.
The judge denied his request for a lower bond.
Fuoco is employed full-time by an IT company in the Research Triangle Park., he said in court.
