Wake Forest lines up virtual storytime series, magic show this month

Wake Forest's Renaissance Centre will be offering some virtual family-friendly activities this month.

On Oct. 12, the center will launch a 12-week bedtime story reading series on its Facebook page through a partnership with Page 158 Books. The event is best for kids 10 and under and take place at 7 p.m., Mondays, from Oct. 12 to Dec. 28. Storytime Online will feature 12 popular bedtime stories read by actors from Forest Moon Theater, the Wake Forest mayor and the board of commissioners.
And Happy Dan the Magic Man returns to the center's Facebook page on 11 a.m., Oct. 21, for his "one-of-a-kind" magic show that's best for young children. You can see a few of his past episodes on the center's website.
