WAKE FOREST, N.C. — Eight Wake Forest restaurants and bars are teaming up to give back to the Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry.
The Six One Five Collabeeration includes a special edition Strawberry and Basil Ale from Norse Brewing Company and Strawberry and Basil Ice Cream from Lumpy's Ice Cream.

Proceeds from the sale of each special edition item will be donated to Tri-Area Ministry Food Pantry, a non-profit organization that provides food and personal hygiene products to those in need in the Wake Forest and surrounding areas.

The ice cream and beer will be available at these locations starting Friday, May 21:

  • Norse Brewing Company, 203 Brooks Street (ale and ice cream)
  • Lumpy’s Ice Cream, 306 E. Wait Avenue (ice cream)
  • Bodega Tapas, 110 S. White Street (ale and ice cream)
  • Over The Falls, 419 S. Brooks Street (ale and ice cream)
  • Strike and Barrel, 413 S. Brooks Street (ale and ice cream)
  • Sugar Magnolia Café, 219 S. White Street (ale)
  • Tonic Bar and Social Club, 158 S. White Street (ale)
  • Unwined on White, 153 S. White Street (ale)

“The Collabeeration is designed to serve the entire Wake Forest community so the name pays tribute to that as it honors the original 615-acre area that made up the original town limits. This really shows that we can all play a part in helping those that might have been severely impacted by the pandemic or other events and we’re thrilled to be a part of something this creative, fun and, frankly tasty,” Strike and Barrell owner Dave Carmichael said.
