Wake Forest bank robbed

— A masked man robbed a Capital Bank in Wake Forest Friday morning, police said.

The robber entered the bank, at 12217 Capital Blvd., at about 11 a.m. wearing a light blue ski mask, police said. He demanded money and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber was described as a black man in his late 20s or early 30s, between 5-foot-8 and 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt and a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt.

Witnesses said the robber arrived at the bank in the back seat of a silver, four-door Volvo sedan. police said.
