The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Friday night for Jakirra Jatavia-Qtay Hendrix who did not make it home from school.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Friday night for Jakirra Jatavia-Qtay Hendrix who did not make it home from school.

Jakirra, 16, was last seen on the school bus at 1008 Holland Ridge Road in Raleigh. She is described as a black girl, about 5 feet 7 inches tall with black and blonde shoulder-length hair. She was wearing black leggings, black shoes and a blue hoodie.

Anyone with information about Jakirra is asked to call the Wake County Sheriff's Office at 919-856-6911.
