Wake County teacher charged with child abuse, DWI

CARY, N.C. — A Wake County high school teacher has been arrested on multiple charges, including child abuse and driving while impaired.
Katherine Hennenlotter, 41, a teacher at Panther Creek High School, was arrested in Cary on Tuesday.
Details about the charges weren't immediately available.
According to her website, Hennenlotter says she is a 12th-grade English teacher, has been instructing in Wake County for 18 years and has been at Panther Creek High since 2017.
