Wake County names new principal at Fuquay-Varina Middle School

— The Wake County Board of Education voted to make the following personnel changes after a closed session meeting Tuesday.

Principals

Howard (Kris) Clark has been named principal at Fuquay-Varina Middle School. He was previously assistant principal at Fuquay-Varina High School.

Teresa Abron, a retiree, has been named interim principal at North Forest Pines Elementary School in Raleigh.

Jan Hargrove, a retiree, has been named interim principal at Banks Road Elementary School in Raleigh.

Charles Langley, a retiree, has been named interim principal at Jones Dairy Elementary School in Wake Forest.

Assistant principals

Sarisha Dawson has been named assistant principal at Cary High School. She was previously an assistant principal intern at Reedy Creek Magnet Middle School.

Loren Pinkney has been named assistant principal at Brier Creek Elementary School in Raleigh. He was previously assistant principal at Lufkin Road Middle School.

Elizabeth Prue has been named assistant principal at Holly Springs High School. She was previously a teacher at Willow Springs Elementary School.

Steven Hayes, a retiree, has been named interim assistant principal at Salem Middle School in Apex.

Steven Rhodes, a retiree, has been named interim assistant principal at Lufkin Road Middle School in Apex.

Nanette Lavery, a retiree, has been named interim assistant principal at Carnage Magnet Middle School in Raleigh.

Martha McCaskill, a retiree, has been named interim assistant principal at Enloe Magnet High School in Raleigh.
