Wake County man accused of choking juvenile
Ricky O'Neal Stokes, 36, of 2701 Spamoca Drive in Wendell, is accused of choking a juvenile around the neck with his hand, according to an arrest warrant. The juvenile also suffered hemorrhaging in the right eye during the May 7 incident.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Wake County man has been charged with assault by strangulation.
Ricky O'Neal Stokes, 36, of 2701 Spamoca Drive in Wendell, is accused of choking a juvenile around the neck with his hand, according to an arrest warrant. The juvenile also suffered hemorrhaging in the right eye during the May 7 incident.
Stokes was arrested on Wednesday and released on bond.
