Raleigh, N.C. — Both directions of Wade Avenue were closed Monday afternoon at the Canterbury Road intersection near Jaycee Park due to a water main break.
The closures began shortly after noon close to Cameron Village.
A detour route takes drivers coming from the east right onto Baez Street, left on Grant Avenue, left on Canterbury Road and back onto Wade Avenue.
Those coming from the west must take a right onto Canterbury Road, a left on Barmettler Street, a left on Gardner Street and back onto Wade Avenue.
The City of Raleigh estimated a repair would take until 8 p.m.
