with the long term lease agreement or extension talks, Is that something you were involved in? And how important, obviously it's very important to the arena to get you guys locked up kind of long term in the current deal or the potential, the potential, the one that, you know, we haven't even started talking about that. Um is that something you guys are interested in having those discussions? 100% goes hand in hand with renovations, development for sure. In especially if we're gonna be one of the development partners, we want to make sure we have a place to play too. So they all go hand in hand. Is there a length of time that you guys are looking at? I mean that you would need, if you're going to try to develop this property, well, if you're gonna develop proper, you're probably looking at, you know, 50 to 75 years, you know, if you're gonna put a lot of money in, real estate hotels, making a development, you need the arena to be successful, also you need the hockey team and then she stayed to be part of it, that project. Obviously we've been talking about this for a really long time and you've been involved, you know, heavily when you see a presentation like that, do you get as excited as, as chairman Eiseley did about, you know, the direction and everybody seems to be moving in the same way, I'm excited that it's starting to be talked about publicly, you know, we've been working on for a long time. So, um, you know, now most of the stakeholders are all been involved, which is encouraging nobody's throwing any roadblocks up. Uh, so, you know, to me, it's just another step to potentially getting the same movement in the direction we need to move in. You having a vision for 2025 at some point that, that this will look like what you have lots of visions, You have lots of vision, you know, anytime you're doing a big project, this is going to take time. You know, you go through development. Uh, you know, you're probably at least three years before you ever even think about seeing a shovel in the ground. So it's, it's a process as dan said his phase phase process, You know, this could take 10 years to build out. I want to ask you about the stadium series or the Winter classic, I guess it's the stadium series, um, 30,000 tickets. That's, that's all the hurricanes can get. I've already had fans saying, why can't we get more? Why can't we get more? Well, initially it was, you know, we get as many seats as we have, that's what they usually do in the building, which was 6 18,060. And we went through those really quick. So they've been gracious to give us as many as they can. They still have to hold back for their partners for other NHL teams, every time you got to stay in serious or one of these games, every team gets an opportunity to buy tickets. So they gotta go for those processes also. So, you know, eventually whatever is not, so like I'm very confident we can sell for them. Um, what is the carter family gonna hold for that? What someplace? See why someplace around 51 5, not counting sweets and, uh, uh, that and that doesn't also count what happens on the, uh, on the floor on this, you know, on the surface because there's gonna be a lot of standing room opportunities. Also. How how is progress going on that you guys have a game on that thursday now? And it sounds like maybe a concert. Now we've got a lot going on. It's, uh, mike foreman from my crew has been leading the charge on that and he's done a great job, but we got a lot going on and it's going to be, uh, one heck of a week, I think here in the triangle area. For sure. Lastly, I just asked about the, the least the naming rights extension you guys are obviously negotiating. Is there any progress been made on that? No, we're still, we're talking, it's, it's going in the right direction. Let's say that it's just a matter of, you know, there's a lot of, uh, a lot of things, you know, when the deal was done 20 years ago. You know, you didn't have all the assets you have now with digital and, and facebook and all this stuff. So there's a lot of new assets that we're working through to try to put the finishing touches on it. Well, I have, you have less than a week right till opening day. What what is the sense around the sake team at this point? We're anxious to get going. We're glad to get through preseason and We opened October 12 here at home. We're, let's drop the puck and go to the precinct is going about as well as yeah, what I hope the preseason, the guys, you know, they work hard, they learn the system, the new guys and you stay relatively injury free, which we did. So, um, now we just gotta turn up another not notch and hopefully we saved some goals from preseason for the regular season, how you like the way the roster has shaken up with that mix of veterans and youth. Yeah, it's, we had a plan this summer, you know, we went into the summer of adding some of the positions we needed, adding some veteran players and I think it's worked out well for us and you know, it'll, we'll know in the next month or so, see how things go. But I'm very confident in this group. I think it's the best team we've had here on paper since I've been here for sure. Thank you so much

I'm meteorologist, Kat Campbell in the wr a severe weather center, a turbulent week ahead with more storm threats on the horizon, severe weather threats, a level two risk Wednesday and Thursday because of that these days and nicer wr weather alert days. If we take a look at our cold front, it's still well to the west. But as it gets closer to us, we're going to have more forcing for storms to develop and a ripe atmosphere for those storms to intensify, damaging wind gusts and hail are the main concerns though an isolated tornado will be possible. Storms most likely Wednesday night overnight into early Thursday and there could be another chance later Thursday, depending on how that Wednesday night round evolved. So let's first talk about the Wednesday a few hit or miss storms possible pretty much anywhere during the afternoon, but the main, so look like it would come overnight. So we're talking past midnight, likely through very early Thursday morning, 234, 5 a.m. And then the second round approaches from the west and depending on how that first round goes, that's going to determine the strength and the timing of the second round. This model in particular has a moving through a bit early in the day. We'll watch to see if that trend holds. Keep checking in for updates as we get closer to Thursday for Wednesday. It's hot, high temperatures in the upper eighties to lower nineties just isolated storm chances during the day. But that chance, of course, going up later at night, if we look at how hot it's been this spring, it's pretty remarkable. It feels more like summer than spring and it is the warmest spring to date on record at RDU. Temperatures are running 4.7 degrees normal, almost five degrees above normal. We do have a cold front coming and some below normal temperatures briefly return at the forecast Friday, 78. Still some scattered storms around Saturday. We dry out to start the weekend, 75 of the high and near 80 on Mother's Day. Mother's Day is trending drier on Sunday with more sunshine. And you, I notice the cooler weather this weekend when you get to the nighttime hours early in the morning lows dip back in the fifties. A much drier, less humid air returns for the weekend. That should last until early next week. But we still have to get through the turbulent weather first. The worst of it comes Wednesday and Thursday, Friday still some scattered storms. But at this point, those are less likely to be severe.
