Cooper discusses public education with voters

RALEIGH, N.C. — On Thursday evening, Gov. Roy Cooper talked with voters about public education.
Cooper discussed topics like technology, school funding and food.
The event, was hosted by North Carolina Parent Teacher Association along with other education organizations, to give an opportunity to explain his stance on education in the future and during the pandemic.
The discussion was pre-recorded on Sept. 15.
When it comes to education, several parents and even school staff have some concerns.
The NC PTA said Lt. Gov. Dan Forest, who is also running for governor, declined the invitation.
